This is a .0001" standard outside micrometer with an electronic digital readout function. If you are not used to reading micrometers or have trouble seeing small numbers, the digital micrometer can be a pleasure to use. This micrometer switches from inches to millimeters, switches off after 30 minutes but retains last reading, includes on button “hold” and “zero” functions. Runs on a large coin cell battery (#52-1120, see below right) for extra long battery life. Includes plastic case, adjustment wrench, friction thimble (not ratchet), and battery.
