This attachment will fit almost all 6"" dial calipers (dial type or electronic) and enable you to make accurate depth measurements or height difference measurements between surfaces. The tool attaches to the end of the caliper with a thumb screw and can be installed or removed almost instantly. Very handy if you need to know how deep a hole is.
