Hornady NTX ammunition has a lead-free, California-compliant core formed by thousands of pounds of pressure upon powdered tungsten, copper, tin and iron. When the bullet strikes its target the powdered metal core turn back into fragments with explosive results; must like those from V-MAX bullets.
