What major credit cards do you accept?
We accept American Express, Discover, Mastercard, and Visa. When you fill out the payment information on your order please provide your complete credit card number, expiration date, and the full name of the person the card is issued to.
Do you accept COD as a payment method?
Yes, COD orders are accepted. Each carton in a COD shipment will have a separate COD label. There will only be one COD charge per order, which will be assigned to the main box of a multi-box shipment. Shipments made by COD will be sent requiring payment to the driver in Money Order or Cashier's Check unless a prior COD Check Approval Account has been established.
If you are interested in paying by personal or company check, you need to fill out and apply for a COD Check Approval Form. Processing takes up to 14 days though, so plan ahead if this is an option you’d like to pursue.
Who do I make my money order or cashier's check out to, the delivery service or Brownells?
UPS and FedEx will only accept money orders or cashier’s checks for payment (NO CASH). However, the USPS DOES accept cash, along with money orders and cashier’s checks. Please make them payable to Brownells.
What are your Open Account requirements and how do I apply for a Net 10, Open Account?
Open accounts are granted individuals who meet the below requirements:
- A Dun & Bradstreet rating of Good or High with a minimum business net worth of $15,000; an in-business history of over five years, an upward growth trend, and a history of consistent prompt payment of all invoices.
- A credit clearance from the bank handling your shop account.
- References, including a prompt payment history from at least three outside commercial suppliers from whom you are currently buying in dealer quantities on open account.

How do I transfer funds electronically from my bank to yours?
Although it's not an option for web orders, you can electronically transfer funds from your bank to ours for orders made through the mail or with our call center. Please call (800-741-0015) to make arrangements.
