LOG IN OR SIGN UP
Sign up for a new account or log in to your existing account here. If you have both a Brownells account and a Sinclair account, you will need to login using your Brownells account.

MY DASHBOARD
Once you have signed up for a membership with Sinclair, you are able to access your Dashboard tool. Your Dashboard tool is the main screen that you will see after you have logged in or signed up. Here you will be able to access your Past Orders, Downloads, Subscriptions, and Wishlist. You will also be able to view your cart and easily reorder previously purchased items.

UPDATE ACCOUNT
Also located in the Dashboard tool, you are able to change and update your account information at any time. You may change your shipping address, phone numbers, e-mail address, passwords, etc.

You can resolve most issues viewing our site by following the basic steps below.

Step 1 – Identify your browser (skip to Step 2 if you already know what browser you are using) If you are unsure what browser you are using, click the link below to determine the type of browser you are using. Once you have found out your browser, click the back button to come back to this page. http://www.my-browser.net/

 Step 2Clear your browsing temporary files and cookies. Go to the heading for the browser you have, and follow the steps. Internet Explorer 9 and 8

  1. Click Tools, and select Delete Browsing History 
     
     
  2. Deselect Preserve Favorites website data, and select Temporary Internet files, Cookies, and History.
     
     
  3. Click Delete

Internet Explorer 7

  1. From the tools menu in the upper right, select Delete Browsing History.
     
     
  2. To delete your cache, click Delete files.


    To delete your cookies, click Delete cookies.
    To delete your history, Click Delete history.
     
  3. Click Close and then click Ok to exit.

Firefox 3.5 and above for Windows

  1. From the top left, click the orange Firefox button and then select Recent History from the History menu. For older versions, you can find this option under the "Tools" menu.

     
  2. From the Time range to clear: drop-down menu, select the desired range; to clear your entire cache, select Everything
     
     
  3. Click the down arrow next to "Details" to choose what history elements to clear (e.g. check Cookies to clear cookies). Click Clear Now.

Firefox 3 for Windows

  1. From the Tools menu, select Clear Recent History, and then select the items you want to delete (as above).
  2. Click Clear Recent History

Chrome

  1. In the browser bar, enter: chrome://settings/clearBrowserData
     
     
  2. Select the items you want to clear (e.g. Clear browsing history, Clear download history, Empty the cache, Delete cookies and other site and plug-in data).


    From the "Obliterate the following items from" drop-down menu, you can choose the period of time for which you want to clear cached information. To clear your entire cache, select the beginning of time.
     
  3. Click Clear browsing data.

PAYMENT METHODS

PAY BY CREDIT CARD
Sinclair and Brownells accept MasterCard, Visa, Discover, and American Express. When completing the checkout process, please provide your card number, expiration date, and your name (as it appears on the card).

Our 100% satisfaction guarantee doesn’t stop with the quality of our products. It’s our mission, and we wouldn’t be fulfilling our duty if we didn’t extend that same care, security, and safety when handling credit card numbers. Sinclair utilizes a secure server certificate from Thawte for the protection of user information.

CASHIER’S CHECK OR MONEY ORDER
A cashier’s check from a bank or a money order from an authorized source is also acceptable. Personal checks will be held for a clearing prior to the shipment of your order.

REDEEMING A SINCLAIR GIFT CERTIFICATE
All you need to do is follow two easy steps: First, place your order and go to checkout. Second, enter your gift certificate authorization number on Step 2 of the Checkout process under the Promotions/Coupons/Gift Certificates section. We will deduct the gift certificate amount from the balance of your order.

SHIPPING INFORMATION

Small Package Air
Small packages can be sent U.S. Air Mail at a reduced cost if they weigh less than 4 pounds (1.8 kg). This service does not offer tracking capability.

Parcel Post Surface
Expect 3 to 4 months delivery time. Size and weight limits may vary from country to country. Large gun cases, long gun boxes and buffer pedestals exceed the specifications for Parcel Post Air or Priority. Service does not offer tracking capability.

Parcel Post Air or Priority
Same as Parcel Post Surface except delivery time is seven to 10 days. No tracking capability is offered.

Parcel Post Express
Packages sent Parcel Post Express should arrive seven to nine days after the required paperwork is filed and completed. Weight limits vary between countries. Offers tracking capability.

UPS Standard to Canada: UPS offers standard shipment to Canada, the delivery time is basically less than one weeks time. All brokerage fees are assessed upon receipt. All shipments have tracking capability.

UPS Expedited: UPS expedited offers delivery within 10 days. Tracking capability is standard and brokerage fees are assessed upon receipt.

UPS Express: UPS express offers delivery within five to seven days and in most areas sooner. Service offers tracking capability and brokerage fees are assessed upon receipt.

D.B. Schenker, Inc./BAX Global. Very expensive, used for high dollar value orders and/or high volume orders. There are no size or weight restrictions, but chemicals are restricted. Consult International Shipping Restrictions for further delivery limitations. Prices vary; contact our International Department for freight quotes.

Truck to Canada
Expensive; check quotes before specifying. Bluing salts, aerosol products, buffers, gallon containers of bluing chemicals, pedestals, and heavier items must be shipped Truck Freight. Please request a quote (international@brownells.com).

LOST OR DAMAGED PACKAGES
If your order is not delivered within the time frame promised, a request to trace the package may be filed 60 days after the expected delivery. We will try our best to be accommodating in these situations. If your parcel arrives damaged, please inform us immediately so that we may file a package claim and replace your order. Please keep all damaged packaging for a minimum of 3-4 weeks so the carrier may examine it if necessary.

RESTRICTED ITEMS
United States Defense controlled items such as bullets, brass, primers, powder, rifle parts, tactical scopes, etc. may not be shipped to non-US citizens, regardless of the delivery address.

Cleaning solvents, aerosols, petroleum based flammables, and lithium batteries are regulated items that may not be shipped outside the United States. We will make every opportunity to inform you that these items will be removed from your order. Please be sure to include a valid e-mail and phone number.

Small Package Rate
Lightweight orders (less than 13 ounces) can be delivered First Class through the United States Postal Service (USPS) for only $5.95 to a P.O. Box.

2nd Day Air Delivery
Have your entire order shipped 2nd Day Air for $25.95, shipping via UPS or FedEx. This option is unavailable for ORM-D (Other Regulated Materials-Domestic), aerosol, and hazardous products. ORM-D, aerosol and hazardous products have carrier restrictions and can only be shipped Ground. Here is a list of products that do not qualify under the 2nd Day Air One-Rate Plan.

2nd Day orders must be placed by 1 pm, CST Monday - Friday, to ensure prompt delivery.

Next Day Air Delivery
Have your entire order shipped Next Day for $41.95, shipping via UPS or FedEx. This option is unavailable for ORM-D, aerosol, and hazardous products. ORM-D, aerosol and hazardous products have carrier restrictions and can only be shipped Ground. Some products do not qualify under the One-Rate Next-Day-Air Plan.

Next Day orders must be placed by 1 pm, CST Monday - Friday, to ensure prompt arrival.

Saturday Delivery
Saturday Delivery is $20.00 and is only available for orders placed between 1 pm Thursday and 1 pm Friday, CST; shipping via UPS or FedEx. To find out whether Saturday delivery is available in your area contact CustomerSupport@brownells.com.

Truck Shipments
Truck shipments are contracted primarily through Roadway. Certain bluing kits and other heavy items are only deliverable by Truck, either because they're too heavy or because they are considered hazardous. Please call if you have any questions about your shipment or about Roadway.

Since truck charges vary from order to order, please contact us at 800-741-0015 to receive a shipping charge quote. Truck shipments will come to you Delivery Charges Collect, meaning you pay the shipping charges directly to the truck driver. Truck shipments cannot go COD.

Hazmat charges by UPS are currently $27.50 and apply to all orders containing primers or powder.
 
WHAT PRODUCTS CANNOT BE SHIPPED VIA UPS NEXT DAY AIR, 2ND DAY AIR, OR 3 DAY AIR?
We cannot ship powder, primers, aerosols, or rimfire ammunition through air services. They can only go by UPS Ground.

CAN I GET PRIMERS AND POWDER SENT TO ME UNDER A SINGLE UPS HAZARDOUS CHARGE?
Yes, you can get primers and powder sent under one UPS Hazardous charge. Quantities exceeding 40 pounds will require additional Hazardous charges.
 


AMMO RESTRICTIONS
WARNING
You must be 18 or older to purchase shotgun or rifle ammunition and 21 or older to purchase handgun ammunition. All ammunition must be shipped Domestic Ground. Shipping not available for International, DC, and MA residents. Residents of CA, DE, IL, NY and OH, may have additional restrictions. Always make sure you use the correct ammunition for your firearms. Check your state and local laws for any other applicable firearms and ammunition regulations.

 

We cannot ship ammunition to the following:

  • Massachusetts
  • District of Columbia
  • Hawaii
  • Alaska
  • P.O. Boxes
  • APO/FPO Addresses
  • International Addresses
  • U.S. Territories
  • U.S. addresses having zip codes beginning with (606, 607, 608)

SHOULD I RETURN A SCOPE OR TRIGGER TO SINCLAIR FOR REPAIR?
Scope manufacturers would like you to return all scopes directly to them for repair. This results in you getting your scope back quickly with no middleman communication problems. Triggers need to be looked at by the manufacturers for liability reasons.

BACK ORDERS
We try to avoid back orders from occurring by having plenty of inventory on hand at all times, but occasionally they do happen. Back order shipments are not charged a freight charge within the United States. We do not back order components such as powder, brass, and primers due to fluctuating availability from the manufacturers.
