PAYMENT METHODS

PAY BY CREDIT CARD
Sinclair and Brownells accept MasterCard, Visa, Discover, and American Express. When completing the checkout process, please provide your card number, expiration date, and your name (as it appears on the card).

Our 100% satisfaction guarantee doesn’t stop with the quality of our products. It’s our mission, and we wouldn’t be fulfilling our duty if we didn’t extend that same care, security, and safety when handling credit card numbers. Sinclair utilizes a secure server certificate from Thawte for the protection of user information.

CASHIER’S CHECK OR MONEY ORDER
A cashier’s check from a bank or a money order from an authorized source is also acceptable. Personal checks will be held for a clearing prior to the shipment of your order. There is a $20.00 charge for all returned checks.

REDEEMING A SINCLAIR GIFT CERTIFICATE
All you need to do is follow two easy steps: First, place your order and go to checkout. Second, enter your gift certificate authorization number into the “Comments and Special Instructions” box. This box appears after the completion of your shipping information. We will deduct the gift certificate amount from the balance of your order. Any remaining amount over $10 will remain on your account for future purchases. Any amount under $10 will be refunded to you in check form.

Once you have signed up for a membership with Sinclair, you are able to access your Dashboard tool. Your Dashboard tool is the main screen that you will see after you have logged in or signed up. Here you will be able to access your Past Orders, Downloads, Subscriptions, and Wishlist. You will also be able to view your cart and easily reorder previously purchased items.

UPDATE ACCOUNT
Also located in the Dashboard tool, you are able to change and update your account information at any time. You may change your shipping address, phone numbers, e-mail address, passwords, etc.

INTERNATIONAL ORDERS

PAYMENTS
We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express, International Money Order, and Wire Transfer in US Funds only. All Credit Card purchases will have two transactions: The first transaction is for your ordered items and a second transaction for shipping charges upon exiting our facility.

SHIPPING INFORMATION
We normally ship International orders by U.S. Postal Service. (USPS) Other options, such as UPS are available upon request. All International orders are subject to actual shipping charges plus a $6.00 handling fee. Sinclair International is not responsible for International Customs duties, taxes, fees, etc. It is the customer’s responsibility to cover these costs upon delivery.

Most packages exiting our facility should be received within 10-14 days. If a shipping method is not requested, we will ship USPS Priority Mail, as it is delivered quickly and is usually the most affordable option. Please be sure to include a current e-mail address and phone number with each order or correspondence.

LOST OR DAMAGED PACKAGES
If your order is not delivered within the time frame promised, a request to trace the package may be filed 60 days after the expected delivery. We will try our best to be accommodating in these situations. If your parcel arrives damaged, please inform us immediately so that we may file a package claim and replace your order. Please keep all damaged packaging for a minimum of 3-4 weeks so the carrier may examine it if necessary.

RESTRICTED ITEMS
United States Defense controlled items such as bullets, brass, primers, powder, rifle parts, tactical scopes, etc. may not be shipped to non-US citizens, regardless of the delivery address.

Cleaning solvents, aerosols, petroleum based flammables, and lithium batteries are regulated items that may not be shipped outside the United States. We will make every opportunity to inform you that these items will be removed from your order. Please be sure to include a valid e-mail and phone number.

ORDERING

HOW TO ORDER
Once you have found your product, enter the quantity in the QTY field and click ADD TO CART. After you do this, the MY CART box in the top right corner will show that you have added the product(s) to your cart.
  • At this point you have three options:
  • Finalize your purchase by clicking on Checkout
  • Continue shopping by clicking on Continue Shopping
  • Adding quantity or removing a product(s) by entering in a new quantity number in the QTY box or by selecting the Remove box and clicking UPDATE CART
You may also enter in a promotional code to be used for on your order.

HOW TO CHECK OUT AND PRINT AN INVOICE
  1. Enter your e-mail address and password to log in to your existing account. If you do not have an account, click on “Not Registered? Click Here
  2. If you would like to enter your catalog code, do so here. If not click Continue
  3. Enter your shipping information. This will be complete for logged-in members with previous orders through the website.
  4. On this same page, you may enter specific shipping instructions if you have them. When you are finished with this page, click Continue.
  5. This is a summary of your order, please confirm by clicking Continue
  6. Enter your billing address and information, as well as your credit card information.
  7. Look over your personal, payment, and order and shipping information and make sure everything is accurate. If you would like to make any changes to your order or information click EDIT and make your changes. To confirm your order click SUBMIT ORDER. You will be given a Confirmation Number and Account Code; Please document them and keep them handy.

DOES SINCLAIR PUBLISH, SELL, OR RENT ANY OF YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION?
No, Sinclair International, Inc. has never sold or rented personal information to any vendor or agency. That information is provided to us so that we can complete your orders and contact you regarding any problems or product availability. We will not betray your confidence.

WHAT ARE SINCLAIR INTERNATIONAL’S PHONE HOURS?
Our phone lines are currently open on Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 7:00 pm. On Saturday, we are open from 9:00 am until 1:00 pm. We are located in the Eastern Standard Time Zone.

DOES SINCLAIR HAVE A RETAIL STORE WHERE CUSTOMERS CAN PURCHASE SINCLAIR PRODUCTS?
We do not have a store, but we do have a retail counter in our warehouse where customers will stop by to pick up items. Generally, any item in our catalog is available over the retail counter. Retail Counter hours are Monday through Friday, 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm. Our retail counter is not open on weekends.

SHIPPING

HOW MUCH IS SHIPPING IN THE UNITED STATES?
We have a flat rate of $10.50 that applies to almost all orders within the continental United States. Next Day Air, 2nd Day Air, or Three Day Select options are available at the actual shipping costs charged by UPS. Orders shipped to Hawaii or Alaska will be sent via United States Postal Service – Priority Mail (unless requested otherwise) and are subject to additional shipping charges. Hazmat charges by UPS are currently $22.50 and apply to all orders containing primers or powder.

HOW ARE MOST ORDERS SHIPPED IN THE UNITED STATES?
Most orders within the United States are shipped via UPS Ground unless an alternative method is selected. We use the United States Postal Service for lightweight packages, which would include some backorders.

HOW WILL OVERSEAS ORDERS BE SHIPPED?
We ship international orders by US Postal Service (International Priority Mail) and United Parcel Service (UPS Worldwide Expedited). We feel these methods are most affordable and efficient.

HOW MUCH WILL OVERSEAS ORDERS COST TO BE SHIPPED?
We try to advise you on the best carrier for the best price. A lot depends on how fast you need the items. We can quote approximate shipping rates on orders for various shippers and for different service levels. Please request a shipping quote by e-mail or fax while placing your order. For best results, please use “Comments or Special Instructions” box to request a quote for shipping rates after entering your shipping information.

HOW LONG WILL MY ORDER TAKE TO GET TO ME?
For orders delivered in the United States, we try to get your package out the door within the same business day if ordered before 12:00pm EST. Depending on the area of the country you live in, most customers will see their orders within 3 to 5 working days. For overseas orders, generally you can expect a couple of days to process normal orders unless we are waiting on a backordered item to ship your order complete. Some guidelines for shipping times overseas:

UPS Worldwide Expedited - 5 to 7 days
International Priority Mail - 10 to 14 days

WHAT PRODUCTS CANNOT BE SHIPPED VIA UPS NEXT DAY AIR, 2ND DAY AIR, OR 3 DAY AIR?
We cannot ship powder, primers, aerosols, or rimfire ammunition through air services. They can only go by UPS Ground.

CAN I GET PRIMERS AND POWDER SENT TO ME UNDER A SINGLE UPS HAZARDOUS CHARGE?
Yes, you can get primers and powder sent under one UPS Hazardous charge. Quantities exceeding 40 pounds will require additional Hazardous charges.

RETURNS

RETURN POLICY
If you need to return an item, use the return form on the back of your original packing slip. If you are experiencing difficulty in using an item, please call, we may be able to alleviate the problem by phone. When returning an item please provide the following: 1) A copy of the packing slip, 2) The reason you are returning and 3) Whether you wish to exchange or refund. If the return is due to an error on our part, we will reimburse you for UPS Ground or 1st Class mail charges. Items being returned must be in original containers and must be in resalable condition. Items not meeting these guidelines are subject to a minimum 10% restocking fee. Returns made by customer through C.O.D. to collect refund will be refused. Returns made after 30 days will be subject to a restocking charge. No returns accepted after 90 days from purchase.

SHOULD I RETURN A SCOPE OR TRIGGER TO SINCLAIR FOR REPAIR?
Scope manufacturers would like you to return all scopes directly to them for repair. This results in you getting your scope back quickly with no middleman communication problems. Triggers need to be looked at by the manufacturers for liability reasons.

BACK ORDERS
We try to avoid back orders from occurring by having plenty of inventory on hand at all times, but occasionally they do happen. If we do not expect to have an item available within 30 days, we will not back order the item unless specifically requested by the customer. Back order shipments are not charged a freight charge within the United States. We do not back order components such as powder, bullets, brass, and primers due to fluctuating availability from the manufacturers. We will be glad to put your name on our contact list for in-stock status.
