The latest additions to the Sinclair lineup are our two target rifle stocks. We have expended countless hours over the past 6 months developing and testing two target rifle stocks, one for prone shooting and one for F-Class shooting. They both were developed to provide shooters an affordable adjustable stock that would accept a factory or customized Remington Model 700 barreled action. These stocks have all the features and more of a conventional target stock for at least $300.00 less. Our initial production runs will only be for Remington Model 700/40X's short actions in a single shot configuration.
We have tested over a dozen different Remington barreled actions in these stocks and all of them shot as well or better than when they were in their original stock. This includes some barreled actions that were in aftermarket stocks. We fired everything from 223 Remington, 22-250 Remington, 260 Remington, 243 Winchester, 6.5/284, and 308 Winchester in both the prone stocks and the F-Class stocks.
Both stocks are built out of structural strength aluminum with a v-block machined directly into them. All fasteners are stainless steel. The actions bolt directly into the stocks with no bedding. We don't recommend it but the stocks could be milled out by a competent gunsmith and bedded conventionally if a shooter desires. The stocks are machined for a conventional Remington recoil lug.
Both stocks have a barrel channel large enough to accept almost all heavy barrel contours and are equipped with an AR-15 custom grip. Both stocks include a Davidson style magazine follower that provides for easy feeding for single shot use. Stock has an integral trigger guard milled into the stock.
Both stocks are designed for target shooting only and like many aftermarket stocks do not have a provision for a Remington safety.
